Meet Gayle Lunder

Gayle began her career in the insurance industry working as a Customer Service Consultant for Wisconsin Physicians Service in Madison WI. She has over 22 years of experience working with insurance company contracts. She has expanded her expertise into Corporate Wellness, where she has become a Certified Corporate Wellness Specialist (CCWS) as well as a Certified Health and Wellness Coach (CHWC); which she earned by completing the Real Balance Wellness 360 Methodology.   Her dedication to wellness and commitment to learn has earned her the Status of becoming a WELCOA Faculty Member in 2016. This means she has completed four certification series.  Being a WELCOA Faculty Member enables her to address a higher level of challenges faced in today’s organizations.

 

In the past five years she has assisted clients with their wellness programs from simple informational wellness (participatory wellness challenges) to programs and/or campaigns that are fully engaged health-contingent wellness plans.  Activity based such as a weight management, tracking steps to organizing a company 5k walk/run. She has also assisted clients with Outcome based wellness programs that require individuals to attain or maintain certain health outcomes to obtain rewards, example smoking, biometric screenings or meeting exercise targets.  She has also assisted with health fairs and lunch-in-learns.  She is an active member of Rotary Club of Janesville Morning,  Assistant Governor to Rotary District 6250, Board member of Kids against Hunger Rock County and past Board Member of the YWCA of Rock County.  She is a current member of the Employee Benefit Association of Northern Illinois (EBANI), and the Blackhawk Human Resource Association (BHRA) as well as the Wisconsin State Human Resource chapter (SHRM. And is a member of Forward Janesville.  

Outside of work Gayle enjoys road cycling and hiking. Some of her favorite hikes include Este Park, Mount Whitney, and Yosemite. She also enjoys participating in the cycling ride across Iowa known as Ragbrai.
